What is the dosage and how should it be used?
Telithromycin (in this case) comes as a orally-administered tablet.
Do not use more of the medication than recommended, nor take it for longer than your doctor has prescribed.
This medication can be taken with or without food, and each dose should be taken with a full glass (8 ounces) of water.
Telithromycin is usually taken once a day. Try to take telithromycin at about the same time each day.
Take this medication for as many days as it has been prescribed for you even if you begin to feel better. Your symptoms may start to improve before the infection is completely treated.
Note: Telithromycin will not treat a viral infection such as the common cold or flu.
